Our client, a chartered membership body and not for profit organisation, is looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join their growing team.
This role reports to the Head of Financial Controls and you will have one direct report.
Duties will include:
Ensuring that supplier set-up procedures are completed for all approved suppliers.
Completing due diligence procedures relating to suppliers, including reviewing and evaluating responses to the Supplier Questionnaire forms.
Overseeing the preferred supplier list, contractual terms and conditions.
Ownership of Purchase to Pay procurement systems.
Ensuring that all transactions are in compliance with procurement policy.
Ensuring that PO requests are authorised by Cost Centre Owners.
Revising and reconciling supplier invoices.
Liaising with Cost Centre Owners regarding issues and resolving them.
Providing analysis on the profile of supplier expenditure.
Managing process improvements to the Accounts Payable function.
You should have relevant previous experience, be pro-active in reviewing processes, positive, organised and with the ability to build strong working relationships.
If you have experience of Access Dimensions and S2C and P2P procurement systems that would be beneficial.
