An experienced Payroll Manager is required to join our client's growing, fast paced business in Leeds.
You will be working with a small team ensuring that all payroll is processed in an accurate and timely manner along with full regulatory compliance.
As Payroll Manager you will also be reviewing current systems and processes and implementing/improving where appropriate.
This is a hands-on position and responsibilities will include:
Processing 2 weekly and monthly payrolls for circa 250 employees plus agency staff.
Paying statutory payments such as SSP, SMP and SPP.
Responsible for all year end reporting including P60s, P45s and P11Ds.
Processing expenses, holiday pay and pension contributions.
Providing payroll analysis and reporting.
Ensuring that payroll processes are compliant with GDPR at all times.
Responding to and resolving employee queries.
Project managing the development of a timesheet system, review, user testing and implementation.
Processing IR35 and ensuring compliance.
You should have at least 5 years' previous payroll experience, ideally be CIPP and be fully up to date with payroll and pension regulations.
You will be IT literate with good Excel skills and have excellent organisation, attention to detail and communication skills.
