This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join a growing international business where you will have the opportunity for progression.

The role is offered on a Monday to Friday basis with hours ideally 7am - 3pm. However, there is a little flexibility with this.

You will be working closely with the Production Manager to ensure that products reach both UK and global customers on a timely basis.

Key responsibilities are:

Liaising with freight forwarders, shipping companies and couriers to arrange collection and delivery of products.
Preparation of export documentation and invoicing.
Producing accurate and compliant customs and clearance paperwork.
Resolving any shipping issues with customers and advising of any delays.
Obtaining shipping quotes for shipments ranging from small parcels, to pallets to containers.
Ensuring that imports from the USA arrive on time.
Liaising with the Institute of Import and Export relating to HS codes.
Working closely with colleagues in sales and purchasing to manage the supply chain.
Looking at ways of improving current systems and processes with the Production Manager.

You must have a minimum of 3 years previous logistics experience, have a good knowledge of customs procedures and paperwork covering import and export. You will also have excellent organisation and communication skills.
