HR Manager

Our client, the UK division of a global business, is looking for a skilled HR Manager to join their team. 

This is a standalone position in the UK covering two sites – one in Corby and one in Hertfordshire with a total of approximately 100 employees.

Hybrid working is offered with one day per week working from home and also CIPD study support, if required.

You will be liaising closely with the European HR Director and your responsibilities will include:

Providing a broad range of operational HR services and effectively manage daily HR operations in the UK.
Collaborating with senior management to provide HR insights and support strategic decision making.
Maintaining excellent employee relations by creating a conducive environment, mentoring and training heads of department.
Coordinating the selection and recruitment process, sourcing candidates, planning and holding interviews and offer process.
Managing, monitoring and improving performance management through communication, follow-up and support.
Managing and processing the monthly payroll and pension information in line with regulatory and legal regulations.
Administration of the benefits and rewards programmes.

You will ideally be CIPD Level 5 qualified/studying or qualified by experience.  You should have a solid HR generalist background within the SME sector – either as an Advisor looking for your next step or as an HR Manager who is happy to stay at this level.  You will have excellent interpersonal, communication, organisation and planning skills and be confident processing payroll and pension data.
