An experienced Financial Controller is required to join our client's growing, market leading business in Northampton.

This role is offered with a structured, progressive career path to Finance Director in the next three years.

You will play a pivotal part in the development of the business and will report directly to the MD.

Key areas you will be responsible for are:

Assuming full responsibility for all financial aspects of the business.
Providing strategic and financial guidance to senior management and stakeholders.
Developing and improving controls and processes to ensure sound financial management.
Reviewing strategies to increase return on investment and profitability.
Lead, manage and motivate the finance team including appraisals and training.
Being responsible for budgets, forecasts, management and statutory accounting as well as year end and liaising with the auditors and HMRC.

Ideally you will be a fully qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with extensive senior level accountancy experience. You will have a thorough understanding of UK reporting standards and have excellent interpersonal and strategic thinking skills.
