Financial Controller

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Controller to join our client's growing team.

You will be working closely with the Head of Finance and tasks will include:

Responsibility for the production of monthly management accounts
Overseeing all financial control activities, including the review and analysis of costs, budgets and quarterly figures
Ensuring that all financial and statutory reporting duties are adhered to
Producing month and year end figures, working closely with auditors and tax accountants
Mentoring and guiding your team, appraisals and training
Offering pro-active suggestions to improve efficiencies within the business
Leading planning and forecasting activities to ensure that financial plans are consistent with strategic objectives

You should have previous Financial Controller level experience, ideally be a qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA), have supervisory experience and be comfortable working with senior management and organising a varied workload.
