Our client, a growing global business, is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join their team.

This is a varied role where you will be liaising with international and UK senior management while managing the day-to-day operations of the UK accounting team.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing monthly management accounts and forecasts for submission into EMEA consolidated accounts.
Preparing statutory returns including tax packs for the external auditors, VAT returns, corporation tax and liaising with the HMRC.
Team leadership of a team of two ensuring all transactional processes are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
Sales margin analysis and reporting.
Preparing annual budgets alongside senior management.
Managing the treasury function ensuring funds are administered according to approved budget and monitor monthly cashflow.
Pro-actively suggesting methods of improving systems and processes.

Ideally you will be fully qualified or finalist level ACCA or CIMA with experience of multi-site, international business. If you have USGAAP knowledge that would be an advantage but not essential.

You should have the ability to translate performance targets into actionable and quantitative plans, be commercially focused, results driven and have proven experience in managing and motivating a small team.
