An experienced Credit Control/Sales Ledger Manager is required to join our client’s growing B2B business in Northampton.

This role offers a great opportunity for career progression and the chance to develop the function further by suggesting and implementing new systems and processes.

You will initially have one direct report but this is expected to increase as the business continues to thrive.

Other duties will include:

Taking full responsibility for the credit control and sales ledger function of the business.
Developing processes in conjunction with the senior management.
Leading the debt escalation process internally and externally.
Managing credit limits internally and with credit insurers.
Managing the bad debt collection process via solicitors and insurers.
Ensuring cash allocations are posted timely and accurately.
Providing accurate reporting to the senior management.
Dealing with customer queries.

You should have at least 5 years previous B2B credit control and sales ledger experience. Have a positive, pro-active method of working and be keen to progress. You will have excellent communication, organisation and negotiation skills.
