Accounts Senior

We are recruiting for an Accounts Senior to join an established and reputable accountancy practice based north of York's city centre.

Tasks include:

Accounts preparation for clients ranging from sole traders to SMEs to larger entities
Preparation of VAT returns
Statutory & year end accounting
Providing finance and advisory functions to a range of clients
Preparation of financial statements
Providing advice on personal and corporate tax

To be considered, candidates should have experience within an accountancy practice and be at the final stages of ACCA or ACA. We're looking for someone with excellent communication skills who can show initiative and independent thinking. Experience of Xero is beneficial for this role.
