Supply Chain and Logistics Coordinator

A Supply Chain and Logistics Coordinator is required in this fast paced role where you will be dealing with recognisable brands. You will be working closely with Supply Chain Analysts, road freight providers and distribution centres to ensure timely delivery of goods from around the world. Key responsibilities will include:

a single point of contact for all logistics movements of containers of product imported into the UK.
point of contact for stock movements of materials, components and packaging from 3PL warehouses.
customs clearance documentation is in order.
with the HMRC in relation to queries regarding importation of products into the UK.
up to date with import legislation and trade agreements likely to affect importation of food products.
relationships with shipping agencies, logistic and transport providers.
master document for tracking of sea freight shipments.

Ideally you will have previous experience within logistics or shipping, have excellent relationship building, organisation, communication and negotiation skills and be IT literate. You must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment dealing with a high volume of products and shipments.
